Only a nice hotel maid could speak English, the staff...
Only a nice hotel maid could speak English, the staff didn't. She was also a 100 times more competent than the staff working in reception to handle a situation were a very drunk Thai hotel guest were shouting at her husband 6 o'clock in the morning by calling the manager quickly. If the hotel doesn't have a clear policy on such problems, then they just need to promote the nice hotel maid to night manager.
The view from the room, the nice hotel maid that helped me and my girlfriend to get a new room far away from the shouting drunk hotelguest next to us, even the reception otherwise kind staff despite their lack of competence and entusiam about how to handle a "not so unusual situation" in a big hotel 120 BHT for egg and toast, it must be the most expensive in Thailand
